Dr. Sumner, DVM
Dr. Elizabeth Sumner grew up in Tennessee, and she recently moved to Connecticut. She received her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Duke University (2017) and her Master of Public Health and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee (2022). She has a strong interest in Preventative Medicine, Public Health, and One Health (the intersection of human health, animal health, and environmental health).
Dr. Sumner lives with her husband, her dog Kona, and her cat Piper, and she recently started beekeeping. She also enjoys foraging, hiking, gardening, and baking homemade sourdough in her free time.
